Attractions in Kamloops
Kamloops gives every visitor a choice between heading into the wild, hitting the mall, hunting for treasures, attending festivals, or living sports. It also gives every traveler an option of how to get where he or she is going: down the Thomson River in a whitewater raft or on the Kamloops Heritage Railway. Say your prayers at St. Andrews Church, a stop on the Heritage Walking Tour, before mountain-biking at Canada’s only municipal mountain bike trail. When in Kamloops, bring lots of water and a good hat to shield you from the hot Summer Sun while at the Pow Wow, cowboy festival or hunting for fossils. There’s also lots of golf and skiing nearby if you have an opportunity to slip away between tournament games.
